The Poás Volcano National Park will reopen on July 30, after being closed since March 26, 2025. The park’s opening hours are from 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. (last admission).
Tickets must be purchased in advance through the official SINAC website—no sales will be accepted at the park entrance.
As Costa Rica’s most visited national park, high attendance is expected from both local and international tourists. Below are the ticket prices for residents, nationals, and non-residents:
